"For me, having long term depression has certainly developed a bitter-numbness trait in my character. It's not that I don't have or feel empathy, or that I don't care for those around me. It's that I hurt so bad inside, I'm weakened, and I don't have the energy to be truly positive, or optimistic all the time."

Hi, I’m Lauren

A mental health blogger. As I move forward in my life trying to heal wounds of my past, I want to share my experiences in hopes that I can help others.

I have been through situations in life that have broken me down entirely. I have completely lost touch with myself. Suffering through grievances of losing my best friend, and the loss of my daughter, the humiliation of being dragged through the judicial system under false pretenses, relationships becoming turmoil, the people I considered to be closest to me turning against me, mental breakdowns, depression, attemped suicide, mental trauma, fear, isolation, complete social withdrawal.. I want to be able to make a difference somehow.
