Our shadow; the dark thoughts that lurk through our mind, sadness, fearful, anxious memories, never forgetting the steepest descents of our life's journey. Letting go is our only grace.

Dark energy is not something we manifest, it exists as our shadow does. When we choose to embrace our darkness rather than ignore it, we can find balance in our lives.
A seed requires darkness before it can flourish.
Attract positive energy, but do not be afraid of dark energy. Do not pretend darkness does not exist. Embracing darkness is key to growing on our spiritual journey. If you have drowned before in a sea of darkness and somehow have found yourself washed up on an unknown shore, or if you have survived a powerful, life changing storm, finding yourself sifting through the debris of who you were and everything you stood for, you will understand darkness the way I do.

I need to say all of this because I have sat at the table with the devil and seen what hate looks like with my own eyes. There is a threshold of torment that no human can withhold before there is a fault. Something is going to break and once the psyche has broken, faith is no longer a reliable source of hope. Happiness must be sought out by myself at my own will. That is the only way I will achieve true fulfillment. All the things that make me unhappy must be my own responsibility to change. I cannot displace credit for my character, my achievements, and my deeds for it being "miracles of a higher power." I am responsible for my own life.
Listen to your pain, you will find great inner truths.
The ability to confront the very thing that makes you feel like surrendering and face your pain, empowers you. It makes you a wolf and not a sheep. It makes you a warrior in a spiritual battle. It makes you strong. Embracing darkness does not mean to become darkness and it does not make you evil. It makes you brave.
Letting go is the hardest part of any healing journey, whether it's letting go of a person or people, or a certain setting in your life. It is hard when things change, when something happens, and you know, from that point forward, nothing will ever be the same again. Grief is deep, challenging, and complex. The only true aid is time along with the comfort and support of loved ones.
You will find great power and strength through facing darkness without fear. When approaching the unknown with courage, the tides of change will fall heavily in your favor. If you sit face to face with all that makes you afraid, or want to give up, or what makes you angry, filling your heart with vengeance, weighed down by hatred from injustices, broken trust, lies, empty promises, trauma, manipulation, and anxiety, your own self-worth diminished, while you sit with everything that has broken you, choosing right then and there that you will not be defeated, you will persevere, your life will not be controlled ever again, you will do whatever it takes to pick yourself and carry yourself forward, then you have embraced your inner darkness, and you are well on your way towards healing and finding a wonderful peace of mind.
When we are in the darkest places we lay down the foundation for our best lives. Some doors will close forever but new doors will open with greater experiences waiting on the other side.
